SKETCH FOR A SITE-SPECIFIC WALL DECORATION, NYBORG SPORTS CENTER, 2025

Invited competition for a site-specific wall decoration at Nyborg Sports Center. Format / Length: 37 meters x Height: 11 meters.

My inspiration comes from a seashell I found on the beach. It opens up to reveal the secrets of the sea and shore – a vast view toward the sky, the sunset, distant coasts, and bridges that disappear into the horizon. The shell’s fan shape holds a multitude of possibilities, resembling a net, a racket string, or perhaps something even more indefinable.

SITE-SPECIFIC DECORATION, SHELTER ODENSE, 2025

Site-specific outdoor decoration for a new shelter in Odense (DK). The decoration is integrated into the facade and placed on two bricked-up windows.

Two profiles of faces, a woman and a man, gaze out between blue “curtains.” A stylized lantern – a light source – is featured on the decoration to the left. The decoration on the right includes several small lanterns in various designs. The blue areas are made with weather-resistant facade paint. The white elements are glossy ceramic reliefs in stoneware faience.

In collaboration with ceramicist Per Ahlmann, Odense Art Council, Odense Municipality, Kirkens Korshær and Architect Charlotte Folke ApS.

THE BØRGLUM COLLEGE, AARHUS, 2020

Site-specific wall decoration for a large common room at The Børglum College in Aarhus, which approx. 500 students. Format H: 2,75 x W: 14 meter.
The renovation of the room and the surrounding outdoor area is supported by A.P. Møller Foundation. The wall decoration is realized in collaboration with Gallery Profilen (DK.)

DECORATION OF UTILITY BOXES IN SVENDBORG, 2020

Decoration of several utility boxes in Svendborg City based on the global goals. The project is a collaboration with “Sydfyns Kulturforening” and Svendborg Municipality. Supported by The Ministry of Culture and a number of private actors.

Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation.

SKETCH FOR A SITE-SPECIFIC DECORATION, VRAA SKOLE OG BOERNEHUS, 2020

Invited competition for a site-specific decoration for “Vraa Skole og Børnehus” in North Jutland.

My contribution was intended to be listed in a large common room / hall, where there is a long load-bearing concrete wall in the format 6 x 24 meters. Here I imagined using a diverse selection of materials consisting of painting on flax canvas, wood with clear wooden veins and a ceramic mosaic.

FUND FRISKOLE, ODENSE, 2019-2020

Sketch for a site-specific decoration for the dining room at FUND Friskole and Øland in Odense (DK.) The two partners have chosen the name “Småland” for the dining room. They want to highlight a carefree and safe universe for children and adults. The sketch proposal takes its visual origin in the South Swedish highlands and the author Astrid Lindgren’s universe.
